Behind the Boxing with our Denver Camera Crew“My goal is to take over boxing.” – Shakur Stevenson HBO Sports shot another episode of The Fight Game with Jim Lampley and our Denver camera crew helped with the sit-down interviews with Melissa Stark and slo-mo shots. This episode was all about Shakur Stevenson, 19-year-old boxing prodigy. He grew up in Newark, NJ, one of the most dangerous cities in the U.S., but stayed off the streets and in his grandfather’s boxing gym. He worked hard, surrounded himself with a great team and quickly began winning… repeatedly. Stevenson brought home the silver in last year’s Rio Olympics.
