Detroit’s own David has been traveling and shooting sports, documentary, reality, and features for years working for clients such as ESPN, TruTV, VH1, Marvel, and Universal Studios.

David has the vision of a storyteller and a creative eye to capture it. “Life’s an adventure and we get to capture it.” David brings his head down tenacity and grit for “Getting It Done” with ease while maintaining an enjoyable and professional set.

He’s comfortable creating, producing, and shooting for linear, digital, and social. “I grew up in the fast-paced world of live sports and entertainment. My strong dedication and drive, combined with my ability to work well under pressure, got me here.”

GTT: What’s been your favorite shoot so far at GTT:

DD: I really enjoyed the NHL Winter Classic with Nick Sports. I’m a big hockey guy.

GTT: What would your dream shoot be?

DD: Anything hockey would be cool.

GTT: What is your favorite thing about your market, DC?

DD: The history.

GTT: What’s the best way to start the day?

DD: PopTarts and water.

GTT: Describe yourself in 3 words.

DD: Passionate. Dependable. Fun.

GTT: What is your favorite part of being a cameraman?

DD: Being able to help tell a story that someone can’t tell on their own.

GTT: What’s your spirit animal?

DD: Goose

DD: Anywhere in Australia.

GTT: What advice would you give your 18-year-old self?

DD: Slow down. Don’t work so much. Enjoy school.

DD: Pringles. I could probably eat four cans.

GTT: What are your hobbies?

DD: Playing music, painting building things, and climbing.

GTT: Where do you want to be in ten years?

DD: At home with a wife and kids and a great dane.
