DP / Cameraman:
Director of Photography, Skip Clark, has
traveled the US shooting some of the best video for
documentary and broadcast producers.
As a teenager, Skip Clark started his career at an independent
television station in Ohio, a position that laid the
foundation for the next 12 years. After Mansfield and
Columbus, Ohio, Skip moved to Columbia, SC, to take
the Chief Photographer's position at the ABC affiliate,
WOLO. He spent two
years building a solid staff, while improving his own
skills. He traveled overseas covering assignments in
Bosnia and Macedonia.
In the summer of 2000, He joined Go To Team, a production
company based in Columbia, and Charleston, South Carolina.
It turned out to be a pivotal career point and one that
has given him the ability to shoot news, sports and
reality programs for numerous major television networks.
With his young age comes great energy and fresh ideas,
but a seasoned eye. In the last 10 years he¹s seen and
documented some of the biggest events including, 9-11,
7 months on the 2000 campaign trail, the Olympics, and
multiple hurricanes. He traveled his gear through the
very tough terrain of the Costa Rica rainforests and
swamps of South Carolina. His work can be seen everyday
on the networks of NBC, HBO, TLC, A&E, Discovery Channel,
and Food Network for shows like Beyond the Glory, Dateline
NBC, ESPN's Outside the Lines, VH-1 Behind the Music,
and HBO Sports.
Just five years after becoming a member of Go
To Team, Clark is now a partner in the company,
leading their transition into high definition. He's
currently focused on telling the world¹s visual stories
utilizing his high definition Panasonic Varicam. Most
recently Clark lensed the artistic intro pieces and
interviews with every major NASCAR driver for the 2005
Fox Sports television broadcasts.
Throughout his success, Clark has not forgotten how
he got started and currently teaches other aspiring
photographers in Go To Team’s Apprenticeship
program.
