It’s Feel Good Friday, and nothing makes us feel better than a heartwarming dog rescue story!

For years, The Dodo has been building a digital brand for everyone who loves animals and cares about their well being. The goal of the company is to serve up emotionally and visually compelling, highly shareable animal-related stories and videos to as many people as possible. Why? Because this helps make caring about animals a fun and viral cause.

Recently, The Dodo teamed up with Go To Team’s Houston cameraman, Kirby Clarke, to help tell the story of a couple who adopted a dog that was living on the streets. The dog was close to death when they found it.

Through a lot of love and dedication, the dog has made a complete 180 in health. The dog now enjoys romping in the yard and playing with the young kids in the family, as well as their other pup!

Kirby captured all footage on C300. This included b-roll as well as interview shots with the family around their home. For lighting, the crew used Litepanels and a Kino 400.

We are beyond honored that The Dodo allowed our crews to be a part of telling this family’s rescue story! We hope we can work more with The Dodo in the future!
