A dive boat off the California coast was found over labor day after being consumed by flames, 39 people were aboard the boat when it caught fire. CNN reported that victims likely perished due to smoke inhalation. Our hearts go out to the victims and those affected by the fire. 

CNN reporters broadcasted live updates as the tragedy unfolded off the coast of the Channel Islands. Go To Team’s Los Angeles cameraman, David Feeney Lance, was there covering it all with CNN in Oxnard, CA. The tragic boat fire is still being investigated.

David used a Sony F55 to capture footage and a LiveU was used to transfer footage to the client. During a situation where there is breaking news, a LiveU is a reliable device used to stream high-quality videos and live broadcasts.
