Seattle, Washington – Director of Photography – Zach Caby

About Zach:

  • What cameras and equipment have you worked with the most?

The Sony F5 is my daily driver camera and the cool thing about Go To Team is my basic kit is vast! I’ve got LED, Tungsten and HMI lights on the ready to make any location work.

  • Do you specialize in a specific shoot style?

I work such a variety of shoots it’s difficult to say if I specialize in a certain shooting style. I can say that I enjoy run and gun days. I prefer being active as opposed to sedentary, but I love setting up interviews as well!

  • How long have you been filming?

I’ve been working professionally in video since since 2009 but I’ve been shooting since 2000!

  • Do you have a favorite project you’ve worked on?

I got to tour the Oregon Coast for over 2 hours with the Coast Guard, I got to shoot on San Juan Island, and I worked in Mexico for an up and coming tequila brand! On the surface, the ‘where’ seems to dictate how great something can be but after all these years shooting it’s always ALWAYS the ‘who’ — all the great crew and talent I have the privilege or working with. The ‘who’ always make it memorable.
