Back in March, the Atlanta crew consisting of DP Nate Silverman and Apprentice Nate Cummin, traveled up to Birmingham, AL. They spent the afternoon interviewing former Major League and current Minor League Baseball player Alsander Womack. The interview was for Nationwide’s “Road to the Show” and centered around Alsanders’ father, Tony Womack, and some of his amazing highlights in preparation for Father’s Day just around the corner. In the evening, the team captured game footage from the first base camera well and around the concourse.

The interview was with two cameras using the Sony Fx9 and Sony Fx6. The lens on the Fx9 was a Zeiss 85 prime and a Zeiss 40 prime on the Fx6. There was no need to set up lights for this interview because it took place on the field and the weather was wonderful. A bounce board was used to help fill in the shadows on Alsanders face.

The Team worked hard to capture some amazing footage. Spending the day with Alsander Womack was an amazing experience.
