Seattle Crew Enters a Virtual Reality with Epic Games

Take a step into a virtual reality system with our Seattle crew as they interview Epic Games at their Washington office, explaining the upcoming update for their Unreal Engine 4. For the shoot, I used a Sony FS7 and a Canon 5D MK III.

During the interview, there was a strong sunlight behind the Vice President and Co-Founder Mark Rein. In order to cancel out this problem I had to use strong lights to eliminate the shadows for a clear shot.

The interview scenes that were taken while the programers were working on the game were interesting to shoot. We got a great inside look at the inner workings of their virtual reality and I also got to work with a new audio op who was pretty cool. I look forward to working with this group again.
